⚓ Captain's Naval Guide

Welcome to the treacherous waters of Bloxd Pirates. In this mode, survival isn't just about building a base—it's about ruling the ocean. You will need to manage a ship, engage in naval warfare, and board enemy vessels to steal their loot.

Step 1: Boarding & Steering the Ship

When you spawn, you will usually find yourself near a dock or already on a vessel. To steer a ship, approach the Ship's Helm (steering wheel) and interact with it. Your standard movement keys (W, A, S, D) will now control the ship's direction and speed.

Step 2: Firing Cannons

• Load the Cannon: You need cannonballs in your inventory. Approach a cannon and interact to load it.
• Aiming: Position your ship so the side (broadside) faces the enemy. Cannons shoot straight ahead of where they are pointing.
• Fire: Once loaded and aimed, hit the interaction key to fire. A direct hit will blow chunks out of the enemy ship!

Step 3: Raiding Islands

The ocean is filled with scattered islands containing hidden chests, resources, and materials. Park your ship near the shore (don't crash it!), jump off, and gather loot to upgrade your weapons and repair your ship.

💣 Pro Pirate Tactics

Want to become the most feared pirate on the server? Use these advanced strategies:

• The Broadside Attack - Never sail straight towards an enemy. Turn your ship sideways so all your cannons face them at once, unleashing a massive volley.
• Boarding Parties - If you run out of cannonballs, steer your ship right into the enemy's. Jump across the gap with your sword drawn and take them out in close combat.
• Mid-Battle Repairs - Always carry extra wood blocks. If your ship takes a cannonball hit and starts breaking, place wood blocks to patch the holes instantly.

Can my ship sink?

Yes! If your ship takes too much damage from enemy cannons or explosive barrels, the core blocks will break and the ship will be destroyed. You must constantly repair your hull with wood blocks.

How do I get more cannonballs?

Cannonballs can be looted from chests found on various islands scattered across the map. You may also be able to craft them if you gather the right resources like iron or stone, depending on the lobby's exact settings.

What happens if I fall in the water?

You won't die instantly, but swimming makes you very slow and a prime target for enemy snipers. Swim to the nearest island or try to climb back aboard a ship as fast as possible.

Can I steal someone else's ship?

Absolutely. Piracy is highly encouraged! If you manage to kill the enemy crew and take control of their steering wheel, the ship is yours to command.

Do I play alone or with a crew?

You can play solo, but sailing a ship, firing cannons, and repairing the hull all at the same time is extremely difficult. It is highly recommended to team up with other players to form a proper crew.
