📚 The Ultimate Beginner's Guide

Starting out in Classic Survival can be brutal if you don't know what to do. The server is full of other players, and when night falls, the real challenge begins. Follow this day-one strategy to establish your dominance.

Step 1: The First 5 Minutes (Resource Gathering)

As soon as you spawn, immediately look for trees. Punch the wood blocks by holding the left mouse button. Gather at least 10 blocks of raw wood. Once you have wood, open your inventory (E) and convert them into Wooden Planks.

Step 2: Crafting Your First Tools

• Use 4 wooden planks to craft a Workbench (Crafting Table).
• Place the Workbench on the ground and interact with it.
• Craft Sticks, and then make a Wooden Pickaxe.
• Use your pickaxe to mine Stone, and immediately upgrade to Stone Tools (Sword, Pickaxe, Axe).

Step 3: Finding Food & Shelter

Before the sun sets, you must secure food. Hunt animals or harvest apples from trees. Do not stay out in the open at night! Dig a hole in the side of a mountain or build a quick 3x3 dirt hut to survive until morning.

Unlike standard single-player games, this is a multiplayer server. To survive against other players, you must use the chat console (press Enter) to type these crucial commands:

• /protect - Most Important! Stand inside your newly built house and type this. It claims the land so other players cannot break your blocks or steal your chests.
• /sethome - Sets your spawn point. If you die, you will respawn exactly where you typed this command.
• /home - Instantly teleports you back to your house from anywhere in the map.
• /spawn - Teleports you back to the main server lobby/spawn point.

Because it is a public server, other players can break your blocks. To prevent this, stand inside your finished house and type /protect in the chat box. This will claim the chunk of land as yours, and no one else will be able to destroy it or open your chests.
